Fall fun

I love October.  The weather is just starting to turn cool and it's nice to be outside again.  We spent a day at my sister's farm spreading compost and burning brush before heading to Inks Lake for our annual Regina Mater camp out.  Good times.  I especially enjoyed the evening sing-along.  Pack 89 also had its fall family camp out, with a great flag retirement ceremony.

Catching up

With the new school year beginning, I have fallen behind on pictures.  Here are the pictures I've taken from the end of August until now.  They include hair cuts, field trips to the cave and park, Timmy's baseball and Cub Scout activities, and today's visit to the pumpkin festival in Elgin.

A visit to the mountains

Just back from a two-week vacation to New Mexico and Colorado.  It was an adventure!  Highlights included hiking, chuck wagon barbeque, train rides, zip lines, random movie filming going on by our campground, more hiking, hail storm, chilly mornings, baby bear and more beautiful scenery than I could catch on film.  I love the mountains.  Enjoy the pictures!

Cub Scout Day Camp

This is Lucas' sixth year at day camp, he started attending when he was three and Timmy was only 4 months old.  Now Timmy is a Tiger!  I was in the tot lot with the younger two, so I didn't get many pictures of my Cub Scouts.  It wasn't as hot this year and thanks to the water backpacks my kids were well hydrated!
