We received some bittersweet news today. We found out for certain that Teresa is carrying our 4th child. Unfortunately, the way we found out is that she started to miscarry. We went to the emergency room about 5:00 today; they ran some tests and did an ultrasound. There was a baby in there, about 6 weeks along, but he or she has passed on.
We entrust our baby's soul to Our Lord's tender mercies. We hope that Andrew has a new playmate.
Lucas wants to give the baby a gender-neutral name, "since we don't know if it was a boy or a girl". We're thinking Carol is a nice name - either after the late Pope John Paul II, or in honor of the season in which our baby was alive - Advent & Christmas.

Daddy's project
Our garbage disposal has been leaking, so I helped my dad put in the new one. I held the flashlight for him. I like to help! 
All Dressed Up
Our friends Joe and Amy got married! I had too much to say during the mass, so I spent most of the time in the foyer running around and coloring. My friend Dylan joined me for a little while, but he's not crawling yet.
New Years train
We rode the train on the day before New Years Eve, but we had to wait in line a long time to get tickets! It was a beautiful day. I've never seen Zilker park that crowded before!
Vacation
We enjoyed a trip to the museum with dad while he had some time off between Christmas and New Years. Later that day we attended our friend's baptism at the cathedral, he was just two weeks old!
