Color Mobile
I love having time to get the house in order and play with Zachary while the boys are in school. Here is an idea I got from the book "Slow and Steady Get me Ready" and Zach's been playing with it for almost 10 minutes now. That's a long time for a baby.

Big baby
Zachary had his two-month well check today. He's about 15 lbs 13 oz (above 97 percentile) and 25 1/2 inches long (95%). That's about three pounds bigger than Lucas and Timmy were at this age.

First day of classes
Here is a picture of the boys before we went to school this morning. I am teaching Latin to Lucas's class, all five of them. At first Timmy did NOT want to go to school, but once we were there he was fine.
I'm enjoying the peaceful house while they're gone. Funny how having just one child to tend seems like a vacation when you're used to more.
L for Lucas
For Labor day, Lucas and Timmy went in the backyard and played in the mud. They showered and got cleaned up for lunch, then went back out and broke rocks, trimmed the rosemary, and played in the mud. Then they got cleaned up again for dinner, and then played in the mud at grandma's house. All in all, a pretty full day. Can we say, "laundry"? This picture is actually from the day before, when they went and played in the mud in their church clothes. Oops.
