Fun in the sand

We attended two birthday parties on Saturday. The first was for Dominic (Lucas's friends from the MOMS club playgroup), who turned three. Timmy and Lucas really enjoyed playing in the sand volleyball pit.

The second was for Adam, but I don't know how old he is. There was toasting and lots of good Irish food, but we had to get the kids home to bed so we missed out on the ballad singing, sigh.

And I just found out that Scott Alexander was born to our friends Christi and David on Thursday evening :) Best wishes to you. After awhile you can adjust to functioning on less sleep. Really.

In other news, Timmy's two top teeth have cut through, so he should have his two front teeth by Christmas. He's also crawling and pulling up more. We'll be in Florida next week for Thanksgiving, so an early happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

John Paul had his first birthday party on Saturday. Lucas enjoyed the piniata and was very sad when we had to leave before the cake was cut (Doug didn't want to miss too much of the Rice v Tulsa game).

In other news, my sister Christine has moved back to Austin. She's going to help us cut down a tree growing over our house later today.
