Regina Mater camping trip

In honor of Founder's week, Regina Mater has a family camp-out instead of classes the week of October 18th. This year we went to Inks Lake State Park. The weather was perfect and we had a great time enjoying the outdoors with our friends. Here are a few snapshots.

Pumpkin Festival

It was such a beautiful day, I took the two (or three) youngest to Elgin for the pumpkin festival. Zachary decided to bring Tigger along too. He's taken a strong liking to the stuffed animal his uncle gave him last Christmas.

My mom and sister were helping there, teaching fiber arts and assisting with sheep dog herding demonstrations. Zachary decided Meemaw had to come home with us too.

The boys went to grandma's house to get food for Timmy's meal worms (school project... not my idea). This is how they returned several hours later (after the pre-rinse). At least I had some time to study Latin while they were away!

Cub Scout family camp-out

We had a great time camping at McKinney Falls this past weekend. It was a little wet at times, but Zachary loved being outside, Timmy spent hours riding his bike around, and Lucas earned his whittling chip. Lucas also got a big gash on his knee from a fall, but thankfully Donna came to his rescue with her first aid kit. It didn't slow him down!
