Joshua's baptism

Joshua was baptized on the Solemnity of Epiphany, January 8th, during Mass. We were blessed to have many family members and friends present on this special occasion. Doug's vacation ended the next day, which is why it's taken me until now to post pictures!

Happy Epiphany! I'm always a little sad to see the Christmas season drawing to a close, especially this year. It's been really nice having Doug home the last few weeks, but he goes back to work Monday, so my babymoon is almost over. Time to get back to the routine and find a new normal.

Here are some pictures of our adventures the past week: playing at home, raking leaves, a trip to Zilker park, a few trips to my sister's farm, and a play date with cousins.

This year the kids got to decorate the gingerbread house all by themselves since I had my hands full. It was demolished within an hour (dropped on the floor, I think), but I thought they did pretty well.
