Zilker park pictures

Zilker park

Worn out

Usually the boys enjoy some quality time with their dad on Saturdays, but since he's away I've been trying to do fun things with them. Today it was three hours at the Austin Children's Museum checking out the new exhibits, followed by two hours at Zilker park riding the train and playing on the playground. Then we went shopping on the way home. We left at 10am and got hime around 5pm. Considering how hot and tired we were, I think we did pretty well stopping at only three half-gallons of ice-cream (it was on sale :)

Here's Timmy in the parking lot enjoying some just-purchsed apple juice. I finally put up the bumper sticker I make at Rice from bits of KTRU stickers. I wonder how many people understand the reference, and how many are justed confused by it.

Clothesy Clothes

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. Since Doug is in Taiwan (since the 18th) so I haven't had much time to myself. This picture shows Lucas' creative and destructive side. He decided to have a clothesy-clothes party. This is his clothesy-clothes restaurant, although we told him it would probably be closed by the health inspectors, he insisted that we put signs on the fron and back doors inviting everyone to come to his party. Thankfully, no one took him up on the offer.

Visit to Florida (part one: family)

Florida part one

First day of pre-school

Okay, I'm only about four weeks late, but this is Lucas after his first day of preschool. He is still hesitant to go, but he's having a great time and is always smiling when I pick him up.
