Just wanted to see if we could post videos. This is from the park earlier this morning, it was such a beautiful day! Sometimes I really love my job. Posted by Picasa

Hard to resist

A baby's smile can be a very powerful thing. Here Timmy is using his smile to ask me to take him out of the carseat, even though I have groceries that really need to be put away. Posted by Picasa

Hey Blue!

Doug volunteered to be umpire for Dell's charity softball tournament. He worked four games yesterday. We had lunch with him and then went to play on the playground. Posted by Picasa

Funny face

Timmy is telling me all about gravity after knocking down the block towers. Posted by Picasa

Rhythm section

Timmy and Ridley make up the percussion section at Lucas's playgroup. Posted by Picasa

Passing time

Timmy plays with Noah in the cry room during the bible study lecture. Posted by Picasa

Church Bells

Part of the choir's responsibilities include ringing the bells before mass on Sunday. Lucas loves to help daddy pull the ropes, even if most of the bells weigh more than he does! Posted by Picasa

Hey, my kolache!

Timmy can't wait until he's old enough to eat kolaches, in fact, he tried to take mine!

(Yes, I know, Laura, it's not an actual kolache but I have no idea how to spell the other kind) Posted by Picasa

Cruisin'

Timmy going for a late night (for him) drive at Michelle's 40th birthday party. He loves feeling the grass with his toes. Posted by Picasa

Bronco

Timmy goes on a piggy-back ride, but from his reaction you'd think Lucas was a bucking bronco! Posted by Picasa

Out and about

Timmy's now sitting up well enough to ride in the wagon with Lucas. We're starting to get some fall weather so it's nice to go on walks around the neighborhood and chat with the neighbors. I love this time of year.

Slide

Lucas made some new friends today. In fact, I had to chase him and carry him to the car because he wanted to go home with them. Sometimes it's hard to let a good time end. Posted by Picasa

Timmy discovers rocks

Such a great age. He can play in them, but not yet eat them or throw them. I know it won't last, sigh. Posted by Picasa

So long and thanks for all the pics

My camera died. It was finally dropped one too many times. I have recorded many fond memories with that camera, 5000+ pictures over 4 years and 4 months. This was one of the first pictures from my graduation. Don't worry, the blog pics will continue, we've already bought a replacement.

In other more interesting news, Timmy's first tooth finally surfaces today (bottom left) followed a few hours later by his second (bottom right). He's been a bit fussy today to say the least.

We had a great time at a birthday party this afternoon with Lucas's friend Isaac. They've know each other since Lucas was 6 months old (Isaac was 2 months). It was the calmest 3-year-old party I've ever been to, the adults outnumberd the kids 7:3 (Timmy being the other little one). Thomas the Tank engine abounded. I would have a lot of cute pictures if my camera hadn't died, but hey, there's always tomorrow. Posted by Picasa

Lucas and his friend Therese playing with an air pump. Why are non-toys always more interesting? Posted by Picasa

Happy Birthday Mary!

Today we went to a birthday party for Mary, the Mother of God. We played games like "pin the crown on Mary" and made tissue paper roses in her honor. How do we know today is her birthday? It's tradition (and nine months after the feast of the Immaculate Conception). Thanks to Sharon for hosting, it was a lot of fun! Posted by Picasa
